Product Performance Characteristics
The PEEK film is a semi-crystalline, high-performance special film made from PEEK polymer. It has excellent heat resistance, light weight, superior mechanical properties and durability, outstanding radiation resistance, hydrolysis resistance, chemical resistance, excellent electrical insulation performance, excellent wear resistance, good barrier properties and flame retardancy, low toxicity of combustion products, low water absorption rate, halogen-free, and good processing performance.
The specific physical properties of PEEK film
(1) Heat resistance: High-temperature heat-resistant film, with a melting point of 341 ℃. The long-term use temperature recognized by UL in the United States is 260 ℃.
(2) Excellent electrical and insulation properties: Even under high temperatures, high voltages, high frequencies, high speeds, and high humidity conditions, it still maintains excellent insulation performance and stable electrical properties.
(3) Flexibility: Currently, it ranks among the top in the market for high-temperature resistant film products, outperforming polyimide and polyphenylene sulfide films.
(4) Resistance to solvents: Does not dissolve in most acid and alkali solvents.
(5) Resistance to hydrolysis: Can be used for a long time under 200℃ steam conditions.
(6) Radiation resistance: Exhibits excellent resistance to various types of radiation and can withstand high doses of gamma rays without altering its physical properties.
(7) Dimensional stability: Exhibits an extremely low water absorption rate and a linear thermal expansion coefficient.
(8) Wear resistance: The wear amount of the Taber H10 wheel is 0.00027.
(9) Flame retardancy: A certain thickness of PEEK film possesses inherent flame retardancy, and the combustion products are low in smoke and non-toxic.
